1. Arrival at the airport

• Detailed description including a map of Prostějov airport, Kolín, Příbram. click here
• You are required to arrive at the airport and register in our office at least 45 minutes before your jump.

2. Tandem Jump Preparation

• After you register in the Jump-Tandem office, you will be provided with an overall and our tandem pilot will give you further instructions.
• The preparation takes approx. 10-15 minutes. During that time, your tandem pilot will brief you on the entire duration of your tandem-jump, i.e. procedures on the airplane, exiting the plane, during the course of your free fall, the parachute flight and landing procedures.

3. Boarding and Flight

• After your boarding, during the flight we will show you surroundings from the plane of all interesting landmarks. You will experience and enjoy a regular sightseeing flight. 
• If you feel worried about your jump, your tandem pilot will make you feel comfortable and relaxed…

4. The Jump

• One of the most beautiful stages of a tandem-jump.
• It isn’t an exit from a plane. It is an entry into a new world.

5. Free Fall

• The most impressive part of your jump.
• You don’t feel any falling. It is as if you were floating without feeling any gravity for one minute, reaching a speed of 200km/h (approx. 120 miles per hour).

 

6. Release and Parachute Flight

• The tandem pilot releases his main parachute at a height of 1500m (approx. 5000 feet) over the ground. From this moment you are flying through quiet unlimited space.  
• You can control the parachute yourself down to the height of 300m (approx. 1000 feet) over the ground. From this point the parachute is back under control of your tandem pilot in order to land you smoothly and safely. 

7. The Landing

• Landing equals a fall from a height of one step (approx. 0,6 feet). So it is quite easy and safe.
• The tandem-instructor touches the ground the first, so even the slight impact mentioned above is absorbed by him.
  

8. After you land

• Before you finish your first drink to celebrate the first jump in your life, a DVD and CD photos will be prepared for you. You can also paper print the photos of your choice right at the airport.
